On this page we would like to show some projects past and present.

Our biggest project to date has been the plans to expand the museum by raising money to erect two large Nissan Huts, this is an on going project and has been a lot of hard work for all who are involved we started off  getting a plan and here is a pictorial diary of the progress so far. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us by "Sponsor A Brick"  donating funds or giving up their own personal time and expertise.

It all started with the plans. Next we had to clear the rubbish We salvaged what we could and scrapped making a little more money for the funds Ian kindly gave up his time and came over to measure out
Ian's expertise came in very handy when we had to turn the huts round 90° This is the view where it is all happening Ian had some very hi tech and expensive equipment Glad he knew how to use it
The mapping out was not a five minute job Thanks Ian well done We had to re-locate the old tool shed Everyone to hand as it was a little fragile
Finally Pat broke ground. We had to move all the excess soil. Pat enjoyed every minute. Skip overseas Fred does not slack.
David had a quick break Well Skip I am not sure you can see me! Steve & David straighten up the edges. Extra hours put in by Steve & David help things along.
David levelling the crushed concrete. Time for a meeting to see how things are progressing. At then end of the first and very long day. So much work done! Well done boys.
We enrolled the help of another expert, John and his mate Andy.We needed the dead overhanging branch cut back John & Andy soon made short work of it TIMBER! All we had to do was clear up. Don't worry the cutting back will benefit the tree and the mistletoe is still there.
A view with both bases and the middle strip will be the walkway between them. Moving on And on. And on.
Kevin's turn he makes sure the pipes are in place ready for electrics etc. Time now to get the shuttering set up. Even the shuttering has to be set level David helps Ian Fred coats the shuttering with wax oil to help the concrete not stick to it.
Steve shows Fred where to put the filler Believe me the boys had more than one tea break. The sand had to be put on and leveled. Even after many hours of hard graft they still manage a smile for the camera.
A damp proof layer had to be put down. On top of that went the reinforcing rebar. All ready for the concrete to arrive. Arrival of the cement mixer lorry
The driver said he had never delivered for a job of this type before. As it poured the concrete had to be spread about. Wow almost half way Work progresses well
After the mix was poured and patted it then had to be screeded This machine was no small thing but very useful. Fred keeps the concrete moist so as it did not dry out too fast and cracking. Well! First down one more to go
Doesn't it look good? And the work goes on. Pat shifts more tonnes of crushed concrete. Sand layer.
More levelling Damp proof coarse Rebar for strengthening Putting cups under rebar for concrete to be able to flow over and under.
Not an easy job at all. Next lot of concrete. More spreading. The man operating the mixer is the owner of the company he was so impressed he gave us a small discount.
From left to right. Ian, Andy, Steve, David, Fred and John. These boys are the "A Team" More Photographs will come as progress goes on.
